Deez Nanner Treats™:
2 tablespoons coconut oil, plus extra for greasing baking sheet
4 bananas
Nut butter (I used this almond butter)
12oz semi sweet chocolate chips
Pinch of Kosher salt
Lightly grease a baking sheet with a bit of coconut oil to ensure Deez Nanner Treats™ do not stick. Next, Slice bananas in to 1/2" discs and lay flat on the greased baking sheet. Grab your nut butter of choice and place a dime size piece on the top of each banana. When finished, place the bananas in the freezer for at least 15 minutes to harden. While bananas are cooling in the freezer, prepare your chocolate by adding 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and the chocolate into a double boiler over medium heat. Stir the chocolate frequently until chips have completely melted. Next, turn off the heat, grab the bananas, a spoon, and one fork. Place a banana on to the fork in one hand, and use your other hand to spoon chocolate over the entire piece of banana. Once coated, run the bottom of the fork along the side of the bowl to wipe off excess chocolate. Place the banana back on the baking sheet and repeat for the remaining slices. When done, place the baking sheet back in to the freezer to harden the chocolate. Transfer Deez Nanner Treats™ to a zip lock bag and freeze up to 1 week.
Prior to eating, take Deez Nanner Treats™ out of freezer and let thaw for at least 5-10 minutes. Enjoy!
